Journey through the Dante Urbinate: Paradise, Canto XXVIII. The Angelic Choirs

Here is the ninth sphere. Dante and Beatrice look at the nine angelic choirs that rotate around a luminous point representing God (XXVIII, 13-45). Beatrice's pose also seems to convey the words she says to Dante:

"Da quel punto / depende il cielo e tutta la natura. / Mira quell cerchio che più li è congiunto; / e sappi che ’l suo muovere è si tosto / per l’affocato amore ond’elli è punto."

"From that point / All Heaven hangs, and all of nature. / Gaze at the circle that is closest to it, / and know that its motion is so rapid / From the fiery love that pierces it."

(Canto XXVIII, 41-45).
